I started using a Mac way back. It was an SE and I used it to lay up a four-color monthly magazine. In the 1990s, I had a Mac for my desktop publishing work and a PC for my public relations consulting job. They sat there side-by-side for years. However, it was the PC that finally won out over the Mac. The Mac wasn't compatible with anything other than other Macs and this incompatability created lots of problems. When I was finally an independent contractor and could make my own buying decisions, I chose a PC so I could be compatible with the majority of the computer-using world. It was a business decision and I believe it was the best choice.

That is very true. Windows has such a big community and there is so much out there for Windows compared to any other OS(not just Mac).

I would like to commend you for making a wise decision and an appropriate one...
