Spyware Thats Not

Sometimes things arent what they appear.

In a recent discussion, I was asked about iadHide and what it was. It brought to mind the fact that alot of "programs" are really just undocumented malware. I personally dont use any kind of Desktop Manager... mainly becuase anything that tracks what Im doing can report that information to the company that created it.

This is one reason I never used AOL. If you use AOL ask yourself this... what is it that AOL downloads on your system when its closing down?... not sure ?.. I dont know either. Im not comfortable letting someone else put things on my computer without my knowledge. At least Microsoft lets me decide on whether I want to install its updates.
