Windows Always Rules

Windows It Is, HW Vault
There have been quite a few articles that give you reasons to switch to MAC. Reasons could be many, but the real king never loses the throne.

First some history: Mac was designed first, and Bill Gates copied the concept to build Windows. Windows outgrew Mac in no time. The possible reason could be that Windows has always been a much better OS than Mac. This article aims at reinstating the best operating system available to us.

Security

Many Mac followers claim that Mac is secure and Windows can get hacked into easily. But, let's think for a moment. Why would so many people try to write viruses for Windows and not for a Mac? Hypothetically if 90 students use Windows and 10 use Mac, if I am a virus progammer. I would try to nuke Windows as I want my efforts to yield the maximum damage. This is the same situation we are facing in the real world. All the virus programmers are after Windows, as they know that the ratio of Windows users to Mac users is no comparison. But wait, I read this article which reports that Mac could be as vulnerable as Windows. Sounds like things are going downhill for Macs now...

Intel on Macs

This news should be viewed as nightmare to the Macdom. The Mac hardware will be capable of running Windows which would eventually see OS X being replaced by Windows in the next few years. The reason I would go for Windows is mainly due to the extensive programs that run on Windows coupled with the ease of usability. Plus, more people are comfortable using Windows than OS X, me included.

Economy

If you run down to a computer store, you can find a PC with Windows for less than $300. A similarly configured Mac would cost me at least $2000 which is atrociously expensive. Lets think here, which one to go for?

Conclusion

XP is not the end of the road for Windows. Windows users are eagerly awaiting Vista which is known to be as attractive as OS X and as stable as Linux. There is a very good possibility that the introduction of Vista could stop Apple's growth in its budding stages.

But all these things said, I know that the concept of GUI of an operating system was engineered by Steve Jobs, and MAC came out with the first such prototype but lacked the firepower that Windows had.
